Three Fun and Safe Ways to Run Your School’s Traditional or Virtual Fundraiser

We at the Kastle understand that the 2020-21 school year is not a normal school year, and there are new challenges that will need to be faced. We have worked during this time to develop virtual fundraising ideas and hybrid fundraising options so that your seasonal fundraising and holiday shoppes can still continue uninterrupted. Our goal is for students, teachers, families, and other school members to look forward to the holiday season with cheer and excitement.

Don’t miss out on ordering your favorite candles, sweets, shops, and more. Work with us and keep your school fundraising and holiday spirit on track this school year. In an effort to accommodate everyone’s organizational needs, we have put together some new online fundraising ideas for schools to utilize. Choose from:

Traditional Fundraising: School Delivery

  • Volunteers select dates, brochures, prizes, and incentives
  • Brochure packets are sent to the school
  • In-person or video kickoff for students
  • Students take home brochures and share them with family and friends
  • Customers can pay for brochure purchases with a credit card using our “Mobile Pay” option
  • Students register online and share with family and friends via social media, email, and text
  • Students enter order form online –OR– return order form and money to the school
  • Orders are packed per student and shipped directly to the school

Hybrid Fundraising: Home Delivery

  • Volunteers select dates, brochures, prizes, and incentives
  • Brochure packets are sent to the school
  • Video kickoff for students
  • Students take home brochures and share them with family and friends
  • Customers can pay for brochure purchases with a credit card using our “Mobile Pay” option
  • Students register online and share with family and friends via social media, email, and text
  • Students enter order form online –OR– return order form and money to the school
  • Orders are packed per student and shipped directly to the students home

It can be run, so there is only 1 touchpoint in school: Brochure distribution. Handing out the brochure has always resulted in larger school sales. Families can enter their order form online, and orders can be sent directly to students’ homes.

Virtual Fundraising: Home Delivery

  • Volunteers select dates, brochures, and incentives
  • A Parent letter is emailed to students
  • Students register online and share with family and friends via social media, email, and text
  • Orders are shipped directly to the customers home

Online Fundraising can be combined with Traditional or Hybrid Fundraising for schools that have both students in the classroom and students studying online from home.

Example: If you have 500 students in your school and 300 are in the classroom (even for a few days a week), we can send 300 brochures to the school for them to take home and run a traditional or hybrid fundraiser. For the 200 students studying online from home, you email them the parent letter/email for the online fundraising option.

Virtual Fundraising Ideas That Work for Your School & Schedule

benefits of online fundraising The safety of students, teachers, parents, volunteers, and more during this time is our top priority. So is making sure that schools can still run the fundraisers that the students and staff look forward to each year. We have put together online fundraising ideas for schools so you can choose the option that works best for your staff and your schedule.

Parents who are working from home, going on location, or not working at this time will all have options for how they want to order and what price range they want to stay in. It has been our goal to create virtual fundraising that is stress-free, easy to understand, and with no hassle — that starts with the delivery of the brochures all through to the final delivery of products and final payments. With a range of prices and a range of delivery and order options, there is a solution for everyone.

Benefits of Our Online School Fundraising

online school fundraising ideas that workWe have put together three options for online school fundraising and included additional benefits to assist with the successful run of the fundraiser you select. These benefits include waiving the cancellation fee if, for any reason, the fundraiser is unable to run — the focus should be on a safe, fun, healthy fundraising option, and we hope the flexibility we have aimed to provide gives that to you. This should allow schools to move forward with our fundraising options with peace of mind during a stressful time. We also are absorbing any credit card processing fee made on purchases, so parents and families can order without concern.

Our products for our virtual fundraising will still include our classic snifty pencils, snifty scented pencils, mixed bags, frozen pizza and frozen cookie dough, the world’s finest chocolates, and more. Just because how we fundraise looks a little different does not mean we wanted our school fundraising to be any less than fun and exciting.

PTAs Don’t Need to Fret Over Online Fundraising Ideas for Schools.

simple and easy school fundraisingThe overall aim of our virtual fundraising is for schools to keep a feeling of comfort and normalcy persistent even during uncertain times. We aim to alleviate the stress put on parents and teachers by compiling a way that students can shop with their families from the safety and comfort of their homes.

Stress is at a minimum, and planning is drastically reduced when you select a virtual fundraising option or hybrid model for your school fundraising this year from Kids Kastle. We have put together a team to handle packaging, shipping, labeling, and a timetable to ensure deliveries arrive when they are needed.

With everything else going on this year, count on an online fundraiser you can stand behind and reduce the stress of the holiday season to focus on the cheer.

Set Up Your Virtual Fundraising This September

booking holiday virtual fundraisingWhen opting for an entirely virtual fundraising option, there are a few key things to keep in mind. Virtual fundraising events will need to run in November, with all final orders being placed by the Thanksgiving holiday. This will allow our additional elves (workers assisting with packing and shipping) to get everything delivered on time for the Christmas season. To accommodate orders by Hanukkah, let us know so we can prepare accordingly.

Final profits to the school will range based on which virtual fundraising idea you opt for, with Traditional and Touchless Shoppes providing the highest profit. Our aim is to always do the best for the schools that we can, and at this time, we are working on putting safety, reliability, and health first for all of our workers and the volunteers and families at each school we assist.

There is a lot to think about, but we are happy to consult, discuss, and weigh the pros and cons for each option with consideration to your specific needs. Reach out, and let us show you how your holiday season can still thrive with our virtual school fundraising options.
